Pre-Medical & Pre-Dental Society

The Pre-Medicine/Pre-Dental/Pre-Veterinary Society (PMPDS) is an organization dedicated to helping pre-professional students realize their career goals. All students interested in pursuing careers in medicine / health care, dentistry, or veterinary are encouraged to join.

Winter 2007, the group will meet:

  • Tuesdays 6-7 p.m.
  • PUB 263

Membership:

  • If you have questions, e-mail at premedpredentsociety@yahoo.com or stop by the club office in PUB 263.
  • Or come to one of the regularly-scheduled meetings.

Atmosphere:
PMPDS meetings are comfortable settings where you are in a group of your own peers who are also in the same major or related pre-professional programs such as Pre-Health Professional or Allied Health fields.

Agendas or topics of interest that are discussed include:

  • Current issues in the health field that could affect you now and in the future.
  • Assist in finding volunteering opportunities around the community.
  • Presentations from area doctors, current medical students, and medical schools.
  • Participation in events or announcements regarding events or important dates for the club.
