Biological Student Organization (B.S.O)
The Biological Student Organization (BSO) is an educational, service and social group for students majoring, minoring, or having an interest in biology.
Goals:
- to unite and acknowledge students interested in biology
- to enhance interaction between faculty and students
- to provide educational tools for students
- to support community causes
Benefits:
- Educational: speakers and workshops; field trips
- Service: volunteer services to local programs, schools, and agencies
- Social: parties, luncheons with professors
- Fundraising: food sales, t-shirt sales, raffles.
Membership:
- Open to all interested EWU undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty.
- To join, complete the application form and pay the membership fee ($5.00/year, $2.00/quarter). Deliver it to the BSO mailbox in the Biology Office, SCI 258.
