Eastern's dental hygiene program is the only entry-level bachelor's degree program in the state of Washington. In fact, less than twenty percent of the dental hygiene programs in the United States offer this degree. This means that our graduates can pursue dental health careers that may be closed to people with dental hygiene certificates or associate degrees.
For hygienists who choose to enter private dental practice, a bachelor's degree offers a broader educational base and a more secure foundation for everyday interaction with the public.
