Graduate Instructor Positions with a Tuition Waiver are available, as follows:

The Graduate Instructor is required to teach two courses in mathematics at undergraduate level. The applicant must qualify for graduate school in mathematics and selected candidates are expected to enroll in 2 - 3 mathematics graduate level courses. The Graduate Instructor is paid a salary (*see below) plus  full tuition waiver  *Note: Waivers for WA residents & non-resident/foreign students are limited in number.

*1st Year Graduate Instructor salary $14,346/academic year ($4,782 per quarter); plus full tuition waiver.
*2nd Year Graduate Instructor salary $15,282/academic year ($5,094per quarter); plus full tuition waiver.

** Undergraduate students with exceptional preparation in Mathematics may apply for a graduate assistantship when they are within 15 credits of completing all undergraduate degree requirements. Graduate assistants teach either one course or work in the Department's tutor lab. Graduate assistantships are typically held for one quarter while establishing eligibility for a full graduate instructorship. **Graduate Assistant Salary: $2,721/quarter; plus full tuition waiver.
